In 1991 as a shy, na\u00efve 23 year-old Rae made the life-changing decision to join the San Diego County Sheriff\u2019s Department.\u00a0 Her decision was based solely on the fact that she needed to pay rent.\u00a0 Throughout her 18-year career as a Deputy, Rae has encountered some of the county\u2019s most harden criminals in both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s facilities and has many stories, both humorous and tragic, to tell.\u00a0 She is currently working on her autobiography.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
