The SRAM Ladies Lounge at Sea Otter classic will feature a number of top female mountain bikers, industry influencers and top mechanics meeting fans and signing autographs giving bicycle tech clinics, skills discussions and relaxing in between competitions. The SRAM Gold Rusch Tour is designed to encourage women across the country outdoors and on their bicycles.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>SRAM pros stopping by the Sea Otter Ladies Lounge include Rebecca Rusch, Lindsey Voreis, Krista Parks, Katie Holden, Lea Davison, Heather Irmiger, Teal Stetson-Lee, Kelli Emmett and road team TIBCO.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur goal is to empower girls and women through hands-on experience to pick up a bicycle and get outside,\u201d says Rebecca Rusch. \u201cOn a professional level, I\u2019m seeing more and more women on the trail. It\u2019s awesome to get young girls and women of any age excited about the sport. I\u2019m living proof that it\u2019s never too late to learn to ride a bike.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>2011 SRAM Gold Rusch Tour<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Ladies Lounge at the Sea Otter Classic: April 14-17, 2011<\/li>\n<li>Beti Bike Bash in Lakewood, Colorado: June 11-12, 2011 -Rebecca and other pros will be on hand for this two-day, women\u2019s only, mountain bike expo, 2&#215;10 demo and race in Colorado.<\/li>\n<li>Ashland Super-D Media Tour in Ashland, Oregon: June 17-19, 2011 &#8211; Rebecca and fellow mountain bike shredder Lindsey Voreis will lead four select female media representatives through three days of riding and racing the Ashland, OR Super-D.<\/li>\n<li>\u201cWheel Girls\u201d Mountain Bike Club in Ketchum, ID: June through July\u2013 Rebecca is partnering with her local recreation district, and sponsors, SRAM and Specialized to start a 12-17 y\/o female only mountain bike club.<\/li>\n<li>New York City Media Ride: TBD \u2013 Rebecca will be at Manhattan\u2019s Highbridge Mountain Bike Park to lead media representatives through two days of semi-private clinics and product demos. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Media interested in participating in any of the events should contact Amy at amy@outsidemedia.com for more information.<br \/>The reigning and two-time Lifetime Fitness Leadville Trail Women&#8217;s Champion and three time World 24 hr Champion knows a thing or two about pain.
